    Thanx for replying with the info ... I appreciate it very much. I guess I was concerned with overtraining ... cus that is how I used to be programmed (isolation/bodybuilding type of workouts). Your tip on still working out but scaling it back is something I will have to try ... I did the Hindu yesterday and the 5x5 today ... and all with a torn groin muscle from grappling on Monday ... anyway I did not have to scale back and I feel good!! I will listen to my body and see what tomorrow brings as far as working out. Sub Grappling is out of the question tomorrow though ... lol.

  • Workout Frequency?

    Hi ... I am new to this type of workout. I used to lift weights doing a body part twice a week. (ex Chest and Arms = Mon and Thurs, Legs and Abs Wed and Sat, Shoulders and Back = Tues and Fri)

    Just wondering what the workout frequency for the 60 day Challenge would be ... I read the FAQ and it stated "We recommend working out 4-5 days a week. You should rest at least 2 days a week." ... Does this mean to do the workout of the day 5 consecutive days a week and take the weekends off? Or do the workout of the day for 2 days ... then take a day off ... then start again for 3 days and take a day off?

    I am sorry if it is an obvious answer but I am used to the bodybuilding isolation workouts and new to these functional workouts.

    FYI - I participate in submission grappling also 3 times per week. Hence, my change from the bodybuilding/isolation workout mentality to these functional type of workouts.
