Any one have any good tips, suggestions, examples of how they set goals and stay motivated in acheiving them?
Especially people who workout alone and don't have the luxury of having a Monkey Bar Gym in their city.

And, assuming you were contacted and have been working out, how were your results.

Swam twice this week. Feb 3, 2000yds, and feb 5, 2500yds. Last night felt good to get up over 2000yds. I'm going to try to increase the yardage and attempt to decrease the overall average time/100. I spent 37 minutes, swimming and rest, for 2500 yds so I was just under a 1:30/100yd average for the workout. Need to increase endurance and speed. I am counting on the MBG Workouts to help me out in the strength/speed area.
The Boot Camp meal plan is really great! I slipped a little because of work lunches, but I'm getting back on the wagon.

I was also extremely excited to get started when I ordered the 60 Boot Camp, but a little disappointed as I was trying to get started. It's taken some time to get used to the MBG's setup; as it is, online at least, very individual. The boot camp book suggests doing a certain number of MBG workouts and certain number of the yoga sequences per week. I'm guessing that the 60 Day Challenge is similar. I've been printing the past workouts and going in order of workouts posted but not keeping track of the date. For instance, one week I did a MBG workout Mon, Wed, Fri. But I did the workouts for Jan 5,6,7.
I don't have any of the DVD's so I can't compare in that case.
I hope this helps. I am still new to all this too. I was following the plan really well for about three weeks, before I got sick, and was really pleased with the program and results. Now I'm trying to get back into it.
I hope this helps.

Started the Boot Camp Diet this week. It's nice to have a meal plan and not worry about food. Seems really do-able. Does anyone know if it's the same diet in the 60 day fitness challenge? Anyways, one week down and feeling the benefits for sure.
I haven't worked out too much. I swam twice, Tue and Thur, 2000 yds each day. Starting to feel better in the water, which is a really good feeling for me. It's been crazy at work but I'm hoping to add a MBG workout in a few days a week too. Maybe tonight(Feb 2).

I just started myself. It's been to cold and snowy to get any distance but going the 10' to 15' in my basement has been tough. A real learning experience! I built up strength and endurance for the power wheel fairly quick. Just try to improve everytime you strap "the beast" on.

I didn't get anything in this weekend besides house cleaning and family events.
I have decided to get strict with my diet for a while with the hope that the discipline will carry over to my workouts. One of my goals is to workout consistantly for two months. I was good for about two weeks, then my wife, daughter, and I all got a nasty cold. Now we're all better and ready to start again.
Today is day one. The plan is to follow the boot camp diet.
Anyone have any luck with this?

Swam 1600yds. I know it's only day two but I don't remember being so slow in the past. I am trying to keep all my swim/rest intervals at 1:30 or below but it's tough. To make things worse the pool water and air was very hot snd stuffy last night.
Here's my workout(all freestyle):
200 Warm up
3x100 drill
2x3x150
150, 50 free, 50 back, 50 free
150, 50 free, 50 breast, 50 free
150, all free
200 cool down
finished just under 30 min.

I had to finish what I started last night so I went swimming again. I think I am going to try and swim Tuesday and Thursday and run Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and fit some MBG workouts in when I can.
My goal right now is a half marathon on May 17. Then a couple triathlons in July or August and then an open water swimming race at the end of summer. I've been looking at the Big Shoulders 5K in Chicago.
Swam 1700yds. It felt good, but the first time back is always hard. I felt like I was pulling and pulling and not going anywhere!
Here's the workout:
200 Warm up
3x 100 Drills
pyramid set on 1:30 pace
100 on 1:30 (swam ~1:15)
200 on 3:00 (swam ~2:35)
300 on 4:30 (swam ~4:00)
200 on 3:00 (swam ~2:30)
100 on 1:30 (swam ~1:18)
2x4x25 faster 1-4,5-8
100 cool down
